April Diehl

April Diehl has more than 25 years of experience in strategy consulting, commercial banking, finance, and credit risk management.  She has built a career on focused execution, clearly-communicated analytics, and both detailed and strategic problem solving.

Prior to joining Quadrant Law, April was CFO at Saggezza, Inc. in Chicago for nine years, assisting the company with cross-border financial issues, strategic acquisitions, analytic management reporting and budgeting, and executive leadership decision-making.  Saggezza was sold in 2021 to Infostretch.

Before Saggezza, April spent nine years at JPMorgan Chase and Bank One prior to its merger with Chase. As Chief Operating Officer of the Real Estate Owned portfolio, she helped to build the business’ infrastructure including reporting, systems, regulatory compliance, processes and policies, and property tax management.

As Bank One’s CFO of Capital Markets, she instituted a major overhaul of management reporting, improving executive visibility into profitability and risk. April was previously the Credit Lead for the integration of over $40 billion in assets and several hundred employees from Washington Mutual to Chase Commercial Bank.

Prior to JPMorgan Chase, April spent five years with McKinsey & Co. in the Houston and Boston offices.  There, she worked on a number of strategic projects in the financial services, telecom, consumer products, state government, and energy industries.  She developed particular skill sets in modeling, key metrics identification and tracking, and post-merger integration.

April  received an MBA from Harvard Business School and passed the CPA exam in Texas. She has a BBA in Accounting from Texas A&M University, where she also studied Political Science.

April and her family lived in the Chicago-area for over 20 years, where she chaired the Citizen’s Finance Advisory Committee for her children’s School Board.  She served a four-year term on the Board of the Northfield Community Nursery School where she was also the Treasurer.  In addition, she served on the Board of the Harvard Business School Club of Chicago and on the Board and Executive Committee of the Delta Sigma Pi business fraternity.

April is thrilled to have relocated back to her native Texas.  She and her husband live outside of Austin.  They have four daughters ranging from middle school to college. April loves to read, bike, travel, watch football, and debate current events with friends.  She loves to cook and aspires to sleep more.
